Mary O’Sullivan was born at Tua Marina, Marlborough. Her parents were Charles and Mary O’Sullivan (nee O’Leary). They were a pioneering family and Mary and her brothers and sisters grew up on the family farm.
Sister came from the Wellington area. She had a very supportive Family who were frequent visitors...
June Catherine the third daughter of the late Thomas and lris Ryder was born in Palmerston North. She grew up on the family property in Tokomaru with her other siblings.
