Their two main areas of responsibility are to guard and develop the Mission of the Congregation of the Sisters of Compassion.

The Leadership Team aims to fulfil these responsibilities in four ways:

1. By caring for all Sisters in the Congregation
2. By fostering an environment for prayer and commitment to the
3. Gospel
4. Good stewardship of the Congregation’s resources
5. By working towards a partnership with board directors and other co-workers
