Sister Emilian O’Mahony

Honoria, daughter of Cornelius and Ellen O’Mahony, was born at Drimoleague, County Cork, Ireland and immigrated to New Zealand at the age of 30. She was a qualified Maternity Nurse prior to her arrival having received her training at the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin.
Sister Majella Dawson

Margaret Mary Dawson was born on 16 May, 1914, in Lislea, Ireland. Her parents were Peter and Brigid Dawson (nee Quinn). Margaret Mary was the third child in a family of five, the eldest her brother Joe, and her sisters Maureen, Bridie, and Joan who was born in New Zealand.
Sister de Sales Smart

Lucy Smart, the daughter of Enoch Smart and Margaret Smart (nee Goodwin), was born at Prebbleton, Canterbury, on 26 February, 1871. She was one of the four Postulants who entered at Buckle Street and began Novitiate training on 14 April, 1904...
