Constance Miriam Mary Chard was born at Stratford in Taranaki, on 7 May 1912. Her father, Edward Chard, was born in England and came to New Zealand at a very early age, marrying her mother Amy Carter who was of Irish descent.
While Marie was a Sister of Compassion she was very dedicated to the mission of Suzanne Aubert.
Sister has recently moved to the Tulloch Street Community and aims to support the Māori Community in Whanganui...
