Sister Elizabeth Slattery

Alice Slattery was born at Remuera, Auckland, on August 4, 1904. On the day she entered the Sisters of Compassion at Island Bay on 12 November, 1920, Mother Aubert came to the top of the hill to greet her as she walked up from the tram...
Sister Germaine Ward

Lucy May Ward was born at Kingston, England, on 9 November 1905. Her parents were George and Flora Adeline Ward.
Heritage NZ listed the Chapel and the Resting Place to be included as historical sites.

Heritage New Zealand is accepting submissions on this proposal until 24 February, seeking to capture the experiences and significance of this place for those who visit.
