Sister Christopher Birchall
Theresa Eileen Birchall was born in Wanganui on 16 July, 1918. Her twin brother Robert lived only three weeks. Eileen as she was called, was the twelfth child in the family, and the last surviving aunt of her numerous nieces and nephews of whom she was very fond.

Eileen Margaret Murphy was born in Wellington on 28 January 1902. Her parents were Patrick and Lucy Murphy (nee Harris). Eileen entered the Sisters of Compassion on 16 August 1926, and was professed on 11 February 1929...
