Louisa Gertrude was born in Albury, N.S.W. Her parents, Charles and Catherine, raised their eight children, five daughters and three sons, within a strong Christian atmosphere.
Rosanne Agnes Caldwell, daughter of Lindsay Archibald Caldwell and Jeanne Marie [nee Dondeyne] was born on the 25th August, 1923 at Wellington. She was the second daughter in a family of six. Rosanne and her four sisters and one brother received their education at the Sacred Heart Convent in Island Bay.
Sister came from Winton, she loved her family and spoke so well of them and was very Homesick during her Novitiate days...
