Ellen the third daughter of Denis and Ellen Moynihan was born at Tubrid, which is within the Parish of Ardfert, County Kerry, Ireland.
Rhoda May Buckley was born and baptised at St Bathans, Central Otago. Her parents, Patrick and Margaret, were born in Ireland and passed onto their family born in New Zealand a strong Irish inheritance.
It is a miracle that I am here today against all odds given the fact that many doctors told me and the Sisters that I wouldn’t live for long.
