Bridget Cecilia Flannery was the eldest daughter of John and Ellen Flannery, and was born at Timaru on 12 October, 1913. Two of her sisters also entered the Sisters of Compassion: Sister Mary Joan and Sister Mary Adrian.
Being involved in the Compassion Soup Kitchen shows that each and every person who comes in contact with the Centre is treated with dignity and compassion and this Compassion seems to be infectious...
