Christina Agnes Dowdall was born in Whanganui on 9 November, 1908. Her parents were Christopher and Gladys Dowdall. Christina was lovingly referred to in the family as Jacky.
Lesina came from Samoa. She was a happy person but discerned that Religious life was not for her.
