Clare Mary Brownlie was born on 19 October, 1892, at Brunswick, Whanganui, the daughter of James Brownlie and Nora (Nee Mullins). Her father’s two sisters were among Mother Aubert’s first companions.
Rosanne Agnes Caldwell, daughter of Lindsay Archibald Caldwell and Jeanne Marie [nee Dondeyne] was born on the 25th August, 1923 at Wellington. She was the second daughter in a family of six. Rosanne and her four sisters and one brother received their education at the Sacred Heart Convent in Island Bay.
During 1990 Sister Veronica worked at Lakena Village, Suva, to be with the poorest of the poor in their struggle for survival...
