Sister Salome O’Sullivan

Mary O’Sullivan was born at Tua Marina, Marlborough. Her parents were Charles and Mary O’Sullivan (nee O’Leary). They were a pioneering family and Mary and her brothers and sisters grew up on the family farm.
Sister Etienne Walsh

Elizabeth Welsh was born in Invercargill on 3 February, 1885. Her parents were Michael and Margaret Welsh. She entered the Sisters of Compassion on 1 March, 1926, and on 8 September, 1926, Elizabeth began her novitiate training receiving her Religious name Sister M. Etienne. Sister M. Sister Rosalie Allen

Agnes was born in Wellington, daughter of Julian and Agnes Allen. They met whilst on route to New Zealand where they married and settled successfully into their adopted country.
