The sisters would like to acknowledge the energy and commitment of Marilyn Mills to the mission of the Sisters of Compassion during the years she was with us. Marilyn died in Broken Hill a few years ago.
June Catherine the third daughter of the late Thomas and lris Ryder was born in Palmerston North. She grew up on the family property in Tokomaru with her other siblings.
Hanna McNamara was born at Guhard, County Kerry, Ireland, on 25 February 1874. Her parents were Cornelius and Ellen McNamara (nee Dwyer).
