Mary Patricia Kraus was born in Wellington on 21 August 1927. Her parents were William and Ellie Kraus. Patricia was the eldest of four children, followed by Suzanne (Sister of Mercy), Bill and Helen.
Sarah Maud Pritchard was born in Tibooburra, New South Wales. Early in life due to family circumstances Sarah was cared for at St Anne’s Home, in Broken Hill, which was under the management of the Sisters of Mercy.
Bernadette Mary was born in Whangarei on 10 December, 1921, the only child of George Stephenson Wrack and Margaret Ellen Wrack (nee Bagley). Her father, a returned serviceman, died when she was only two years old...
