Sister Aloysius Kerrigan
Margaret Kerrigan was born at Ashhurst, near Palmerston North, on 5 September, 1885. She entered as a Postulant on 13 October, 1907 and went to Island Bay when the Noviciate was transferred there in March, 1908. She began her Novitiate on the 17 September, 1908, and received the name of Sister Mary Aloysius. She was professed on 28 September, 1910.

Heritage NZ listed the Chapel and the Resting Place to be included as historical sites.
Heritage New Zealand is accepting submissions on this proposal until 24 February, seeking to capture the experiences and significance of this place for those who visit.

Sister Helen Wells
Martha Wells was born in Wellington on 11 September, 1889. Her parents were Peter Francis and Susan Wells (nee Holdsworth).
