Margaret Hartnett was the younger sister of Catherine, and was born at Kanieri on the West Coast. She went to the Hokitika Convent School where she would have listened with rapt attention to Mother Mary Joseph Aubert speaking of the Maori Mission at Hiruhārama on the Whanganui River.
Sister came from the Wellington area. She had a very supportive Family who were frequent visitors...
