Patricia Eileen, the eldest daughter of Arthur Henry and Margaret Elizabeth Greener (nee McDonald) was born in Christchurch. Several months later Patricia was baptised in Kilbirnie. She lived with her family in Westport until she entered the Sisters of Compassion.
Sister came from Timaru where she had met the Sisters of Compassion while helping at the Home for the disabled and elderly...
Mary O’Sullivan was born at Tua Marina, Marlborough. Her parents were Charles and Mary O’Sullivan (nee O’Leary). They were a pioneering family and Mary and her brothers and sisters grew up on the family farm.
