In the spirit of Christmas the Compassion Soup Kitchen extends its heartfelt gratitude to two stalwarts of the Wellington funding scene: Wellington City Council and the Wellington Community Fund.  Both organisations have made substantial contributions to the Compassion Soup Kitchen this year, ensuring that everyone in need can receive a hot, nourishing meal.

The City Council’s ongoing support to the Compassion Soup Kitchen’s growing operational costs has enabled over 5,500 nutritious meals to be served each month to those experiencing vulnerability and food insecurity in our community.

Wellington Community Fund is a generous, independent and local funder with a vision of thriving communities across the Wellington Region, in particular in the Hutt Valley and Otaki.  Their support has enabled the purchase and preparation of food for delivery to partner organisations across the region.
