Sister Aloysius Kerrigan
Margaret Kerrigan was born at Ashhurst, near Palmerston North, on 5 September, 1885. She entered as a Postulant on 13 October, 1907 and went to Island Bay when the Noviciate was transferred there in March, 1908. She began her Novitiate on the 17 September, 1908, and received the name of Sister Mary Aloysius. She was professed on 28 September, 1910.

Sister Christine Vercoe
Sister Christine nursed in the hospital. After she left the Sisters of Compassion she communicated with the sisters who were always delighted to hear from her.

Sister Martin Walsh
Lorraine Mary Walsh was born in Gisborne, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Walsh. Lorraine was the eldest sibling.
