Charlotte Hinnegan was born at Stillwater, Westland on the 29 December, 1875. Her parents were John and Margaret Hinnegan (nee Scott).
Julia Monica, daughter of Christopher and Mary Smith, was born and baptised in Kaikoura, Marlborough. Julia had two brothers and two sisters.
Maria an Indian Fijian entered the Sisters of Compassion but Discerned the life was not for her.
