When we are wounded, where do we go? The biological responses are fight, flight, and either feign death or appease the tormentor. However, when the capacity to trust becomes part of the wound, as it inevitably does with any type of trauma, then those who represent safety, by virtue of role or organisation, are required to act in a manner that brings restoration.
