Gather a group, or come yourself, and celebrate with us the joy and depth of Taizé worship.
We are privileged to have Br Matthew from the monastic community at Taizé in France with us.
Our theme for Taizé in Aotearoa is Remembering Hospitality (manaakitanga), based on Hebrews 13:2 “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it.”
Our retreat will include regular prayer times featuring the simple songs of the Taizé and workshops exploring how we all belong to God, who is the source of all hospitality and friendship.
In the spirit of the Venerable Suzanne, Taizé in Aotearoa is open to all age groups and to people of “all creeds and none.”
Costs are $100.00 for the weekend or $50.00 a day and limited accommodation is available for $70.00 per night. Please talk to us if the cost is prohibitive.
