She is faithful to the Hui Aranga choir and enjoys this involvement. Previously she was a member of the Compassion Centre Soup Kitchen team and a member of The Parade Community, Island Bay. In 2011 Sister Luciana moved to Jerusalem and was engaged with home visiting, tangi and volunteering at the Ranana school listening to the children’s reading and other activities. She was part of the Tarnaupoko Link group that met regularly with the Whanganui District Council.
