She wrote that her time as a chaplain had many highlights as well as challenges and disappointments, and like all journeys, it contained many successes as well as opportunities for personal and spiritual development. For her it was more than a job, it was a special calling. In addition to her work as prison chaplain she was involved in supporting the local community in Flaxmere and the Parish in Hastings. The support of the Parish Prayer Group which meets monthly is what she is most grateful for.
