Inspired by the legacy of Meri Hōhepa Suzanne Aubert, this is a unique opportunity to support the Sisters of Compassion Group in delivering its mission through excellence in people practices, safeguarding, and compliance.
About the Role
As People & Compliance Adviser, you’ll provide internal advice and coordination across P&C administration, health and safety, wellbeing, risk reporting, privacy, and safeguarding. You’ll work closely with managers, staff, and volunteers to ensure our organisational systems reflect our mission and values, and that our people feel supported, safe, and empowered.
This role is central to our commitment to manaakitanga – offering care and hospitality in the spirit of Christ – and will suit someone with strong organisational skills, a heart for service, and a keen eye for detail.
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Is committed to the mission and values of the Sisters of Compassion and the legacy of Meri Hōhepa Suzanne Aubert.
- Has experience in HR/P&C administration, compliance, or a related field.
- Understands employment law, health and safety legislation, and privacy principles in Aotearoa.
- Brings warmth, discretion, and professionalism to their work.
- Values partnership under Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is culturally competent in working with Māori.
- Is excited to contribute to a faith-based organisation where people and purpose come first.
