Maria an Indian Fijian entered the Sisters of Compassion but Discerned the life was not for her.
Sister was a beautiful gentle nurse but had to leave the sisters because of health reasons. Paea continues to nurse at St Joseph’s Home of Compassion at Heretaunga.
During her nearly 50 years as a professed religious, Sister offered love and compassion to all those whom she encountered. She was also grateful for the love, understanding and compassion that she received from others.
