Cecilia Margaret was born in Darfield, Canterbury. Her parents were Daniel and Johanna McLaughlin and she had three brothers and three sisters. Cecilia entered the Sisters of Compassion in 1936.
Peggy was born in Raglan in 1947. She was the seventh child in a family of nine.
Leona with her bubbly personality was very good at caring for the children...
