Sarah Teresa O'Sullivan was born in Christchurch on 31 October, 1882, the daughter of Denis and Elizabeth O’Sullivan.
Maria an Indian Fijian entered the Sisters of Compassion but Discerned the life was not for her.
Sister was born in Tonga and had trained as a nurse in Tonga before entering the Sisters of Compassion. After discernment she decided to return home.
