Rosanne Agnes Caldwell, daughter of Lindsay Archibald Caldwell and Jeanne Marie [nee Dondeyne] was born on the 25th August, 1923 at Wellington. She was the second daughter in a family of six. Rosanne and her four sisters and one brother received their education at the Sacred Heart Convent in Island Bay.
Catherine Mary Mears was born at Reefton on 7 November 1892. Her parents were John and Mary Mears [nee McConnell]. Catherine trained as a nurse and completed her General Nursing Training at Westport Hospital...
Cecilia Margaret was born in Darfield, Canterbury. Her parents were Daniel and Johanna McLaughlin and she had three brothers and three sisters. Cecilia entered the Sisters of Compassion in 1936.
