As Archivist-Historian, you’ll be a key guardian of the Congregation’s heritage, ensuring that the stories, taonga, and faith traditions of the Sisters are preserved and made accessible for future generations. You’ll support internal and external stakeholders with research and exhibition development while aligning with the mission and values of the Sisters of Compassion.

Kaimanaaki – Meal Support Worker
Based in the Compassion Soup Kitchen, the role is centred on direct engagement with individuals
in need, offering support, and working as part of a team to ensure smooth operation and a positive,
safe environment for guests.

Retreat Centre and Hospitality Manager
As Retreat Centre & Hospitality Manager, you will lead the daily operations of our retreat and conference centre, Cloister Café, and heritage shop, which includes overseeing the facilities of the Suzanne Aubert Heritage Centre and reinvigorating our commercial kitchen to reintroduce catering services. You’ll ensure a warm and personalised welcome to all guests and pilgrims, manage a dedicated team, and care for the beautiful six-hectare site at Island Bay.
