After her Profession in 1993, Esther commenced teacher training at Corpus Christi, College, Fiji. Following graduation, she taught at St Agnes School. Sister Esther later went to America to do studies in Religious Formation at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. This equipped her for the position she later held as Novice Mistress. In 2020 Archbishop Loy Chong asked Esther to receive the Commemorative Medal for Fiji’s 50 Anniversary of Independence on behalf of the Religious in Fiji.
