Sister was very good at keeping the history and important events of the sisters living there. Sister Angelo now lives in one of the Compassion units at Liverpool Street, Tieri Villas. There she supports and assists people in various ways and is an active member of St Joseph’s Parish Upper Hutt.

Sister Charles Chase
Lucy Edith Chase was born in Wellington, on the 2 July, 1903. Her parents were Charles Russell and Margaret Amelia Chase [nee McAnally]. Lucy entered the Sisters of Compassion on 15 August, 1921, and received her religious name Charles. Sister Charles was Professed on 19 March, 1924, and made her Perpetual Profession on 19 March, 1930...

Annual Venerable Suzanne Aubert celebration day
October is a significant month in the life of Suzanne Aubert given that she died on 1stOctober. To celebrate her life and to help promote the spirituality and good works of Suzanne Aubert, the NZ bishops have agreed to support a Suzanne Aubert Celebration day on the first Sunday of October each year.
