Christian Meditation
4 February – 16 December
This practice of meditation is an ancient form of contemplative prayer, deeply anchored in the teachings of the early Christian desert fathers and mothers of the 4th and 5th centuries. No previous experience is need to participate – all are welcome.

Taizé Prayer
1 March – 6 December
Join us for an hour of meditative singing, scripture and prayer in the Taizé tradition. Taizé is prayer consisting of meditative singing – simple songs typically featuring a line or two from the Psalms. A kind of lectio divina in music, reading and spoken prayer along with periods of silence.

Quiet Days with Suzanne Aubert
14 March – 10 October
An invitation to spend time resting and reflecting on an aspect of the life and vision of Suzanne Aubert. Insights from Suzanne’s life can be a means of developing our own spiritual tools and wisdom. Suzanne knew very well that life can be difficult and exhausting. Her understanding of human nature led her to offer practical and gentle advice.
10am – 2pm, Our Lady’s Home of Compassion Chapel, 2 Rhine Street, Island Bay, Wellington.

Sunday Miha
Each Sunday from February to December. 11am Sunday Miha (Māori Mass) in the Chapel.
On those Sundays when no Priest is available, a Liturgy with Holy Communion is celebrated.
