Joy Cowley has two writing desks, one in Featherston, the other in the Marlborough Sounds and she has a smile wide enough to connect the two. She is a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. This is who she is; writing is what she does, as is leading quiet days and facilitating retreats.
