Fiji - Expansion of the Home of Compassion: Modern Health Care Facilities for the Aged in the Care of the Sisters of CompassionChanel Home of Compassion
The Sisters of Compassion have been in the Fiji Islands for the past 60 years and have provided for the health care of the disadvantaged elderly and disabled women, at the Home of Compassion 270 Princes Road in Suva, fondly known as “the Home”. The Home at present caters for 22 residents who are not able to look after themselves and the Sisters together with a staff of trained nurses and care-givers, work to provide the necessary care of the residents. Our Expansion Project is to improve and upgrade the current facilities and build another 20 rooms so we can cater for a total of 40 residents. The new facility will integrate the current facilities, and modernize the Home to make it more efficient. Should you wish to make a donation, or find out more details, please do not hesitate to contact the Sisters at the above contact details, or alternatively if you are in New Zealand call the Company Office for the Sisters of Compassion on 04 383 4952 and they can provide you with details of a New Zealand bank account for the Fiji Sisters. To those who extend their generosity to us, a very sincere thank you. VINAKA VAKA LEVU! May God bless you abundantly! |
