We are expected to:

Reflect the sacredness of life.

Provide quality without extravagance.

Use our resources wisely.

Act with integrity.

Action with the Poor

Values - Action with the PoorNgã awhina ki ngã rawakore. We have a primary concern to search and stand with those who are most disadvantaged.

We are expected to:

Find a place for those who fall through the gaps.

Continue to work at addressing the cause of poverty.

Became advocates for the disadvantaged.

Set aside a percentage of our resources

for the disadvantaged.

Outreach to the local community.

 Justice

We recognise the rights and intrinsic good of all people.

We are expected to:

Work towards right relationships, especially

with the tangata whenua.

Be concerned for those whose rights are

threatened or violated.

Be fair in decision making.

Promote trust in relationships.

We are expected to:

Listen and value our partners’ contributions.

Recognise and respect the Treaty of Waitangi.

we learn from one another.
